How to Harvest Finances

Philip. 4:6 (KJV)

Be careful for nothing; but in every thing by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known unto God.

How do we harvest our finances? We want to share about the importance of Praising God in order to receive the harvest from giving.  This Scripture confirms that we are to give thanks for answers to prayer before we see the answer.

This becomes an act of faith and we know that God honors faith.

We know from 2 Corinthians, Chapter 9 that our giving has the same characteristics as farming.  We are spiritual farmers sowing a spiritual seed into a spiritual field.  As spiritual farmers, we can learn a lot about harvesting finances by looking at natural farming.

UK/Ireland Prayer Chart

Dear friends,

Everyone has been so faithful to support us in prayer for these trips!  I want to thank you for being part of our team!

As I explained in our last post, this is quite an unusual trip for me.  The only ministry that I am certain about is a time of prayer and fasting for lost souls in the UK.

However, these trips almost always end up being so much more!

Please follow us on Facebook where we will be posting updates and thoughts about this trip.

Again, thank you so much for covering with your prayers!

Thank you for your prayer support that makes everything possible!

We're off again!

We are taking off for another journey of faith!  This trip is very unique as God leads us into a new season.  This is an exciting time as a new phase opens up.

Can we go to a new, higher level if we stay the same?  Doesn't a higher level require change for us?

Since the beginning of last year the Holy Spirit has been speaking to me about a change taking place in the beginning of 2017.  That time has come!

The Holy Spirit has called it a "large shift" and has confirmed it through several people in different ways.  He has shared that it is a calling and there is a grace for going there.

So journey with us as we go into a new dimension!

Feeling Rejected?

Have you ever had problems being accepted?

Here is a sample from our upcoming devotional.  After reading the lesson, say the Scripture out loud and then say the Confession out loud.  Do this every day and any time you feel rejection.

Ephesians 1:6

"To the praise of the glory of his grace, wherein he hath made us accepted in the beloved."

Have you ever had problems being accepted?  Have you ever had feelings of rejection?  Everyone has, some more than others.  But what can you do about it?  What can you do when nobody will accept you?

Well, there is someone who has accepted you!  Father God has accepted you in Christ!

Be Happy and Full of Confidence!

Do you want to be happy and full of confidence?
To be happy and confident we need to know who we are in Christ.  When you find out who you are in Christ, you will become happy and confident on the inside.

Then you won't need people or things to make you happy.  You will find satisfaction and contentment in your position and relationship in Christ.

This creates a confidence that only depends on Jesus.  You will be full of confidence and more successful in life.

Your happiness will be in Christ instead of relationships or accomplishments.  You can be happy in any situation and your dependence on people to make you happy will fade away.

This is a big step in your Christian maturity.  You will be able to focus on God better and maintain your love for Jesus as the first priority in your life.

You build up this confidence by knowing what the Scriptures say about you and speaking these truths into your life.  As you read and speak these things it begins to change you on the inside.  You begin to get a real revelation of these truths and they transform you to be more like Jesus!

Below we have listed some Scriptures that tell you who you are in Christ.  They will help you on your journey to be happy and full of confidence!
Here is how you use them:  You read each Scripture out loud and then read the Confession out loud.  This is how you build the proper image in your heart and mind.

Self Confidence Scriptures

Ephesians 1:7
In whom we have redemption through his blood, the forgiveness of sins, according to the riches of his grace;
Confession: I’m redeemed by the Blood of Jesus. I belong to God and all my sinful past is washed away. My past is gone and I have a fresh, new relationship with God. It is full of life and love. I am forgiven and made clean in Jesus by His blood. I am living in His grace everyday. I am living by His grace everyday.

Ephesians 2:13
But now in Christ Jesus ye who sometimes were far off are made nigh by the blood of Christ.
Confession: By the Blood of Jesus I am close to God. I am closer to God than any person I have ever known. Jesus gave His blood because He wanted me to be close to God and God to be close to me. In Jesus I can be as close to God as I want to be.

Concepts from Mark 11:23, Part 3

Mark 11:23

23 For verily I say unto you, That whosoever shall say unto this mountain, Be thou removed, and be thou cast into the sea; and shall not doubt in his heart, but shall believe that those things which he saith shall come to pass; he shall have whatsoever he saith.

Your believer is a great generator of power.  Like the giant generators that supply energy to cities, your believer is a generator that supplies energy for your life.  It is like a giant dynamo that unleashes its power to energize thousands of homes and businesses with electricity.

Your believer generates the force of life that moves mountains, changes circumstances, and obtains miracles.  When your believer is activated by words, this dynamic power is released in the earth on your behalf.  This believer is located deep in the heart of man where the issues of life flow.

Proverbs 4:23

23  Keep thy heart with all diligence; for out of it are the issues of life.

What are the issues of life?  Using a modern sense of the idea, the issues are everything a person would deal with in life.  These issues constitute the attention span of a person's life and every area they face and deal with.

We normally speak of believing for promises from God's Word.  This is certainly something you believer is capable of doing.  At the same time, deep in your heart, there are things you believe about the issues of life.

Sometimes, these don't line up with the Word of God.  When this is discovered you must correct this wrong believing with the Word of God.  Otherwise, you keep believing and receiving the wrong thing.

Mark 11:23

23 For verily I say unto you, That whosoever shall say unto this mountain, Be thou removed, and be thou cast into the sea; and shall not doubt in his heart, but shall believe that those things which he saith shall come to pass; he shall have whatsoever he saith.

Now, Jesus also mentioned not doubting in the heart.  We have discussed that you can speak your faith independent of your mental faculties and emotions.  Even if your mind and emotions are sending out a signal contrary to what you believe in your heart, you mouth can still speak words of faith.

In fact, when you do this, the power in the Word of God can redirect the thoughts and feelings to agree with what you are saying.  This is one way you train them to stay in line with the faith in your heart.  It is a way to take dominion over them and bring them into submission to the Word of God.

Speaking faith releases and carries faith into every realm of life.  Speaking faith sends faith as an ambassador to the world, to others, to your own mental and emotional faculties and even into spiritual darkness.  It represents you faith in these places and releases the power contained in God's Word to make the changes decreed by your faith words.

Mark 11:23

23  For verily I say unto you, That whosoever shall say unto this mountain, Be thou removed, and be thou cast into the sea; and shall not doubt in his heart, but shall believe that those things which he saith shall come to pass; he shall have whatsoever he saith.

Some noticeable features and concepts from Mark 11:23-

  • There will always be mountains available in the landscape of our lives
  • The landscape is always subject to change
  • Mountains are made to be removed and displaced
  • Mountains are expendable
  • Mountains, by their nature, are weak and lifeless
  • Man's heart has a choice to make either doubt or belief
  • Man's heart is the generator of the force that moves mountains
  • Without the hearts involvement, mountains will never move
  • The heart speaks its will and desire through the mouth
  • The mouth is the release point of faith and doubt
  • Words become carriers of the supernatural forces operating in the heart
  • Words become the instruments of destruction for mountains
  • Faith released in words can change a person's future and destiny
  • Human kind has a part to play in their future and destiny
  • People are determining their future by what they say
  • The landscape of your life is determined by what is in your heart and expressed by your mouth
  • It becomes a priority to maintain a proper heart condition of faith and believing and to be guarded in what is spoken

Mountains are meant to be moved.  Mountains are not placed in your life by God.  If they were, they would not be subject to removal.  Mountains, then, represent obstacles and challenges from sources other than God.  When God looks at mountains, He sees plains and valleys formed by their removal.

Isaiah 40:3-4

3 The voice of him that crieth in the wilderness, Prepare ye the way of the LORD, make straight in the desert a highway for our God. 4 Every valley shall be exalted, and every mountain and hill shall be made low: and the crooked shall be made straight, and the rough places plain:

This is probably a more accurate assessment of God's view of mountains.  When mountains are removed, it creates a smooth, level highway over which to travel the road of life.  God's plan for our lives is for a smooth level plain of blessing.  This plan was disrupted by the fall of man.  In Christ, God has reestablished the plan.  However, man has a part to play in the plan.

Notice that the mountains are subject to man's dominion.  Jesus did not mention God moving any mountains.  Jesus said that people move mountains.  This would be an incredibly impossible task if it weren't for the fact that God gave us the tool to do the job.  If you were sent out to move a mountain with a shovel and wheelbarrow, this would be unfair and unjust.  Jesus says the tool God has given us will work.  Therefore, it must be a big, mountain-moving tool.

Since Jesus said the tool will do the job, we must see that and believe that.  This tool is a mountain-moving tool that works every time.  When we do believe, then the tool works.  This tool is, of course, our words.  Jesus said the mountains of life are subject to faith filled words.

It is Harvest Time!

I sent you to reap that whereon ye bestowed no labour: other men laboured, and ye are entered into their labours.

John 4:38 (KJV)

Jesus says that reaping requires labor, or, effort.  There are apparently different kinds of effort.

Jesus is using farming as a symbol for spiritual effort.  Reaping a harvest takes great effort.  It may take more effort than any part of the crop producing process.

However, you can’t even have a harvest to reap unless there is the effort of planting the seed and tending the crops.  This will always precede bringing in the harvest.

What should your confessions cover?

For verily I say unto you, That whosoever shall say unto this mountain, Be thou removed, and be thou cast into the sea; and shall not doubt in his heart, but shall believe that those things which he saith shall come to pass; he shall have whatsoever he saith.

Mark 11:23 (KJV)

Have you ever wondered where to focus your confessions?  We have heard many messages on the importance of our words and what we confess.

Where should we start and how much should we do?  How can we know what is sufficient or when it is too much?  Can it be too much?

Praying the 91st Psalm Over your Family

We have included a personalized version of Psalm 91 for your convenience.  We trust it will be a blessing to you!

Father God, I bless me and my family with Psalm 91. I say that we dwell in the secret place of the Most High, we abide under the shadow of the Almighty. I say of you Lord you are our refuge, our fortress, our God, in You do we trust for health, prosperity and safety from destruction. Surely You deliver us from the snare of the fowler and from the noisome pestilence. You cover us with your feathers and under your wings do we trust. Your truth is our shield and buckler.
